Review process
Each article is written by one person and checked by a scientific reviewer before it is published. The reviewer's name appears on the article.
Evidence grades
We grade each compound and use on a four-step scale described on the evidence grades page.
Updates and corrections
We re-check every review at least once a year and show the last-updated date at the top of each article. Corrections are noted at the end of the article.
What we never publish
Dosing instructions, protocols for human use, or claims that a compound treats, cures or prevents any disease.
